ATTENTION

The traditional Gulf Coast Veteran’s Day Parade events, scheduled to be hosted November 7, 2020 in Biloxi have been postponed to Veterans Day weekend 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns. The Gulf Coast Veterans Parade Committee is excited to announce the 2020 Veterans Day “Roll Through and Wave” to honor our Veterans in lieu of traditional parade activities. The "Roll Through and Wave" event will be a private event, passing through both the Armed Forces Retirement Home and the Biloxi VA Hospital. Due to social distancing and COVID-19 safety measures, these events will take place during an undisclosed time and date to the public, and are open ONLY to listed participants; which include members of the Gulf Coast Corvette Club, Gulf Coast Mustang Club and Mississippi Coast Watchers (antique military vehicles) and  Veteran's family members approved by the Gulf Coast Veterans Parade Committee.

Though the Public can not physically attend, we are excited to announce you can still participate from home via the "Roll Through and Wave" VIRTUAL STREAM. The entirety of all "Roll Through and Wave" activities will be professionally filmed and produced for a Virtual Stream special feature that will go live to the public on our website and Facebook page at

10:00am on Veterans Day; November 11, 2020.

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF THE GULF COAST VETERANS PARADE

The Annual Gulf Coast Veterans Parade celebrates it's 20th Anniversary as Mississippi's only sanctioned Veterans Day Parade by the national VA. From the first parade downtown Gulfport on November 11, 2000, this annual tradition on the Mississippi Gulf Coast has traversed the cities across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, hosting hundreds of thousands of participants and attendees over the past two decades. Each year, traditional parade participants have included hundreds of marching troops, ROTC and JROTC Units, Boy and Girl Scout Units, American Legion and VFW Posts, Purple Heart Units, Disabled Vets, Biloxi Veterans Affairs Center, Bands from Middle Schools, High School and Colleges, local and state VIP’s and Dignitaries, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast, motorcycle groups, and mini-flyovers. The number of participants continue to grow every year, making it one of the largest, if not the largest Veterans Parade celebrations in the southeast.

The 19th Annual Gulf Coast Veterans Parade was held in D'iberville, MS in November of 2019, with Grand Marshall Gene Taylor.

Though COVID-19 has changed our 20th Anniversary from our traditional parade activities, we ask that you join us to continue to celebrate our Veterans via our first ever VIRTUAL STREAM of a private "Roll Through & Wave" event taking place at the Biloxi VA Hospital and Armed Forces Retirement Home.
